Sierra Nevada has all but wrapped up the build of their east coast location in Mills River, North Carolina. Like any project, especially construction, there were delays. One of the biggest issues – rain. A lots of it. When you are a brewery, adversity pretty much means there is a beer to commemorate your hardships, and that’s where Rain Check Spiced Stout was born.
Rain Check Spiced Stout is our answer to the merciless wet weather that plagued and slowed the construction of our new brewery in Mills River, NC. This dark, rich, and roast beer helps us forget the delays- a Rain Check we’ll take anytime.
Sierra Nevada Rain Check Spiced Stout will be packaged in 12oz bottles.
Style: Imperial Stout
Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft.

One night only, May 23/24, the challenger — Comet 209P/LINEAR dusty debris.
Comet 209P/LINEAR
This May 17, 2014 image of Comet 209/LINEAR is the average of 5, 180-second exposures, taken remotely with the PlaneWave 17″+ Paramount ME+STL-6303E robotic unit of the Virtual Telescope Project. The telescope tracked the comet, so stars are trailing. This comet has the potential to generate an exceptional meteor shower (Camelopardalids) on May 24, 2014.

It started with w00tstout release #1, a collaboration between Stone Brewing Co.’s Greg Koch, actor Wil Wheaton, and Fark.com founder Drew Curtis. Farking Wheaton w00tstout was an imperial stout brewed with pecans, wheat & rye, partially aged in bourbon barrels. Released in July, 2013.
Well now it’s time for a reboot. Meet w00tstout 2.0. Wheaton & Curtis return, with the help of Aisha Tyler. Tyler has been on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Who’s Line is It Anyway? and Archer.
w00tstout 2.0 wil be similar to last years release, an imperial stout brewed with wheat, rye, pecans, plus a new addition -stone-ground chocolate. Don’t forget this is partially aged in bourbon barrels.
Style: Imperial Stout (w/ Pecans, Rye, Chocolate. Barrel Aged. Bourbon)

I just don’t get it. A guy says something and it’s recorded, it was not in a public forum but it gets out. If you don’t like what he said I totally understand that, I didn’t like it either. But now he is now the NBA can fine him since he has said something they didn’t like. WTF, this world is ruled by the Politically Correct Police. If you don’t like him fine, don’t do business with him. If the NBA only allows certain people to own teams well….
Since when does owning a basketball team mean you need to like basketball players?
