Even at a young age I enjoyed trapsing through the woods. Back when I first moved to Florida when I was always hiking around in the woods around my house and in the neighborhood. There were lots of creeks and several ponds I would visit many times during the summer and on weekends. The closest being at the end of my street. There was also two larger ponds down at the farther end of my street across the main highway through Basswood Estates where I lived.
Just outside our neighborhood there was a large field that had the county airport on the other side of it, it had several large airplane engines with cylinders all around the shaft like the old planes did.
