mostly sunnySunny and cool in the am, nicer today than yesterday, why couldn’t this have been Saturday?

Dropped Brian off at the airport, then it went and filled up the gas tank of the rental car before dropping it off. We left the umbrellas and the dude at the rental drop off seemed ok with it.

Met with Brian at his gate, just one away from the one I’ll be leaving from. He was gone by 9:30 and the plan left just past 10.

Stopped in to California pizza kitchen and had a pizza and a Sierra Nevada pale. Met a family who was from Orlando, they were Florida fans as well, nice. Finished up and then went over to the gate at 11:30. I had gotten a text from Kim just about 10:45, asking what I was doing, hopeful but why is it she usually asks to do something when I’m busy. Can never get a break here…..

Sat @ the gate for awhile before boarding, the area was packed and also there was 2 more flights, one to LA and the other to UTAH in the same corner. Flight was mostly un-eventful, there were two guys behind me who’s legs were in my back, I tried to lay my seat back and ending up with the dude squirming around shoving his knees into my back, I just let my seat go back to it’s upright position and didn’t try to sleep at all. There was a movie on the flight, The Adventures of Walter Mitty, not a bad movie at all actually, not something I would have watched purposely but nice. Had a Blue Moon and some cookies, they didn’t come around a second time for drinks but the flight is a bit shorter on the way back only being about 4 hours instead of closer to 5.

Got on the ground about 7:30pm EST and we had to wait a bit to get to the gate, ended up at T-Gate and therefore it was only a short walk to the Terminal, Brian had just ordered a salad and he should have just ate it there while I got my bags but instead he got it to go and then didn’t really eat it at all. MARTA boring ride but thankfully the train switch @ Lindberg wasn’t very long, only about a minute or two. Drive home with a detour to BK for a snack/late supper and home to unpack. All beer bottles made it home safe, tomorrow I’ll shoot photos of them and the glasses.

Cold and mostly clear and sunny;

We figured out the problem with the WM client, not the client at all it seems, it was a bad fix for a Relay Server fix, damn people not testing.

Met a nice couple from NC coast who just got back from Belise City, he is a big beer drinker too, she was drinking wine and they were about my age, fun. He was an IPA man just like me.

Flight was uneventful but very uncomfortable, I was @ the window, it’s going to be bad since I will not be at a window on the way back to Atlanta.

Saw a Noles fan on the shuttle to the renal car area. Finally after a little waiting I got the car was a wonderful blue Nissan this but not a lot of pick up in small pay it does the job. Got over to the hotel room and Brian pulled out the spare I guess pull-pull out bed sofa bed it was rather cold that was already 1 AM and I was tired but I went ahead and played on the computer bit and we finally went to sleep.

partly cloudypartly sunny, some clouds, cooler. Didn’t get out on the trail.

Work was hectic since the WM is failing and I had built .4 the night before and Kem hadn’t gotten me the signed version until after 9:30am. Ken was running round and trying to figure out the problem, we didn’t find anything so I did another build later, .5 with the last of the bugs taken care of and the WM client removed.

Went over and had another beer @ John’s Creek with Katie, the Red Brick Holy Brother, a Saison Stout. Chatted with the dude Trent, the hockey dude and he had just gone to San Francisco.

Came home nd got my camera and clothes packed up since I will be leaving tomorrow after work.
