Bersa Thunder 380 Nickel
Decided to buy this gun about a week before but then forgot it. Then I went back to Bulls Eye with Brian then I had the NICS done but it was again further review and I had to buy the gun or pay for the background check. I called in the next day, but no go, they said nothing had been called back. I then just shrugged it off and figured it may get done on Monday. On Monday we stopped in at the Range again and I asked the gal there about it again. She let me know that I could pick up the gun after 3 business days of purchasing it if nothing came back from the FBI. I then ended up looking up the NICS rules on the FBI website. It told me a few things I hadn’t known already about the process of the NICS and the background check done.
I got home on Tuesday for the most part just waiting until Thursday so I could pick up the Bersa, instead I got a call from Bulls Eye that the gun was ready for me. When I got there and the older dude collected the gun for me told me that they had gotten the OK earlier but it fell through the cracks, I think it was that young dude I talked to Brian about, the one who seems to act like he has something stuck up his backside, no sense of humor at all, or personality for that matter. Stayed there and shot for a bit with Brian, I had my 4 extra magazines loaded and shot all four. Got a bit of a “lesson” from a fellow there on holding the gun and then that I was trying to shoot from too far. Gun is made to only shoot from 15 yards?
The gun seemed to jam about every 4-7 rounds, not sure why but Brian acted like it may be the way I’m holding it and possibly interfering with the slide. I’ll just have to see what happens as I break it in.
Accessories I’m looking to get:
Rubber wrap-around grip
Wood Grip
LaserLite trigger guard laser
safety key
